Where’s Waldo, opps I mean…Reality

Do we even know what we are looking for when we say: REALITY?

Do we even know what we are looking for when we say: REALITY?

I can’t believe how much our collaborative reality has changed since Covid began just over a year ago. These times and the rhetoric that accompanies it have changed us forever. Please, do not get your hackles up at that last sentence!

What I mean by rhetoric is the dynamic of a whole bunch of noise, including:

Positions, Opinions

Loose Facts, Statistics taken out of context

Mis-information, dis-information, and the Missing information

The dictionary defines rhetoric as: language designed to have a persuasive or impressive effect on its audience, but often regarded as lacking in sincerity or meaningful content.

High sounding language used to impress (some) people, this Bombast of continuous swirling messages invading our personal space.....kinda like ants swarming a sandhill.

Do you feel alienated and alone for no apparent reason? Sadly missing is the willingness to acknowledge our commonality as humanity. We are failing to grant dignity by allowing room for all lives to matter. Therefore, if we want to hold onto the presumed reality of being a democracy, then all positions, concerns and considerations deserve to be heard. Or was that merely another a piece of fiction?

As we look at the pieces of our lives laying at our feet, I wonder what it will take to replace this current set of illusions.

Our New Reality challenge is how do we practice social inclusion?

Quoting Douglas Rushkoff in Team Human: “If we can summon enough of our humanity to really LISTEN, we’ll find that most of our counterparts are not truly violent or irredeemably mean-spirited. Understanding their fears and then working together toward our common goals is far more constructive than pretending that entire populations have no humanity at all.”

As a collective, it is time to review the legacy that we want to be known by. How do we treat ourselves personally and collectively? Acting as an individual we must know that how we treat others, as the collective is how we will be treated. Our actions will have personal implications, and like a boomerang what goes around, comes around.

Thoughts create feelings; feelings impact our DNA; and our DNA influences our reality. How we experience life. The universe is always responding to us. We are the ones shaping our own experiences and creating our perception(s) of reality.

The greatest threats to our reality are the beliefs, forces, and institutions that separate us from one another. However, it is also true that breaking down is required for breaking through. So regardless of where you choose to stand, you WILL be part of what is becoming our new way of being human on planet earth at one with it all. Entropy and syntropy go hand-in-hand. Einstein called this process “Love”.

Are you ready for a shift in consciousness? Would you be willing to engage with us in a dialogue where all voices are heard as though they matter?
